Lead Flashing for commercial, industrial, custom and architectural restoration applications.

Lead flashing is also known as “lead roll”.
Custom lead flashing rolls in any width or thickness are also available – contact our sales
staff for pricing and delivery, and any special lead flashing needs you may have.
Types of Lead Flashing
Lead flashing is available in several forms including step flashing, apron flashing, soaker flashing, and valley flashing. The correct type depends on roof geometry and the specific waterproofing requirement. For roof drainage accessories to complement lead flashing, see our lead gutter outlets and goosenecks.

Sheet lead for flashing is sold by weight, in pounds per square foot.

Step Flashing, Apron Flashing & Valley Flashing
Step flashing is used where a sloped roof meets a vertical wall. Apron flashing covers the joint at the base of a chimney. Valley flashing protects the angle where two roof slopes meet.
Lead Flashing for Chimney Restoration
Lead flashing is the preferred material for chimney restoration due to its longevity and flexibility. Nuclead supplies a chimney apron and soaker flashing in custom-cut pieces for historic and modern chimneys. For sealing joints in chimney restoration work, lead caulk and lead wool are also available from Nuclead.
